In fact, Nusa Penida is one of the best places in the world to dive with manta rays and giant mola mola fish. The latter can only be seen by scuba diving, but manta rays are easy to see while snorkeling near the surface.

ABOUT GILI ISLAND
GiliTrawangan is one of the busiest tourist island in Indonesia, its predominantly because of its geographically unique island off Lombok where is reachable by Bali in about 3 hours.
There is no motored vehicle on the island, instead tourists are travelling by walking or bicycling, or by riding Cidomo that’s like a chariot pulled by horse, adding value to the real island getaway.
The island atmosphere is in general nice, as its famous for its reggae partiesnd hip hop and nice beaches where people are very open and warm and friendly to the tourists.

Lombok’s main port to get to GiliTrawangan is Bangsal. However you can get to The Gilis from Senggigi, Mentigi or Teluk Nara as well. The boat is normally running every hour from the respective ports.
GILI DIVE:
Fun dives from 10 meters to 40 meters and is composed of coral gardens, coral ridges and walls. Travelling time only 10-15 minutes by boat; gives you access to 4 dives everyday.
All the dive sites are normally very easy suitable for beginners alike, however we decide the conditions daily on site to make sure you have the best dive of the dayJ.
Dive groups are small with a maximum of 4 divers per guide. Dive times is around 9:00, 11:00 and 14:00, with Night dives available on request

The diving on the Gili Islands is excellent is all year round, with drift diving being the predominant form. March to October has very reliable weather and warm both in and out of the water. We always have some sites sheltered from prevailing seasonal weather conditions and typically lose only three or four days diving a year due to rough conditions. Water temperatures range from 27° to 30° Celsius (80° to 86° Fahrenheit).
Shark Point
Located on GiliTrawangan’s north-western edge and sloping into the Lombok Strait, this dive site has everything! Wide ridges, a fall to more than 50 meters, jack fish schools, sharks, and a 30-meter tug boat wreck to play on. Closer to the shore, the site is shallow to as low as 5 m, where there is a huge number of tortoises among rolling coral fields and bommis.

Turtle Heaven
Turtle Heaven is located on GiliMeno’s north-east side. Big healthy population of different kinds of hard corals. Has a load of nutrients and its place in the present means a lot of fish food is available. And a ton of turtles-both Hawksbill and Green Sea, as the name implies.
Good for snorkeling and novice divers, but also fun for people going up to 30 m and beyond.

Sunset Reef

Sunset Reef is on the southwest side of Gili T. Huge rolling coral plains, rich in soft and hard corals. A great place for divers of all levels.
The prevailing cleaning station attracts animals looking to get a good scrub down. One of the most famous visitors in recent times is Manta Rays, often seen dancing in the upper sunlight. The site also contains a load of shelters for juveniles fishes
Deep Turbo
A dive site with massive coral pinaclesrolling up from a sandy bottom,.
Large schools of batfish and snappers are rolling through, with sharks often seen circling around. Blue Spotted Rays are frequent visitors, which can be seen swimming around foraging clams.
Also noticed with the current, the drift diving here.
