Open Water and Advanced - Sanctum Dive

Open Water

The PADI Open Water Diver course is a three to four day program earning the diver an internationally recognized license. After completing this course you will be certified to dive to 18m, qualified to join dive trips and scuba dive all over the world. The course is usually completed in 3 or 4 consecutive days or scheduled to your convenience.

During the PADI Open Water Diver course you and your PADI diving Instructor work through five pool dives, five knowledge development sessions, and then four open water dives to earn your certification. If you’re in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water, you can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.

Advanced Open Water

During the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course you will complete 2 core dives: deep and navigation, plus an additional 3 Adventure dives of your choice – such as drift diving, fish identification, underwater naturalist, peak performance buoyancy, search & recovery, or underwater photography.

This course is a great way to improve skills already achieved in the Open Water Diver course, while expanding your certification level as a diver. It will broaden your knowledge and enable to you dive to 30 metres, which will open up a whole new world of diving! The Advanced course is often taken soon after the completion of the Open Water certification, and allows new divers the opportunity to advance their techniques under the supervision of a PADI Instructor.
