Sanctum Dive Indonesia

📋 Bookings, Deposits & Cancellations

  • Non-Refundable Deposits: To secure your booking, a deposit is required via our Tab Travel checkout link. Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance.
  • Rescheduling: We require at least 24 hours notice for any rescheduling requests. Changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled activity may incur a fee or forfeit of deposit.
  • No-Shows: Failure to arrive at the dive center at the agreed meeting time (e.g., 08:30 AM for morning dives) will result in a cancellation of the trip without refund.
  • Minimum Dives: All morning boat trips require a minimum booking of 2 dives per person.

🌊 Weather, Seasickness & Trip Alterations

  • Captain's Call: Safety is our absolute priority. In cases of severe weather, the Boat Captain and Management reserve the right to alter the dive itinerary or reroute the boat to a safer location.
  • Severe Weather Surcharge: If you choose to completely opt out of diving due to a weather-related reroute, a 300,000 IDR boat surcharge per person still applies to cover operational costs.
  • Seasickness: If you become seasick and decide not to dive while on the boat, you will still be charged the full price of the dive trip. We strongly recommend taking motion sickness tablets 30 minutes before boarding if you are prone to seasickness.
  • Manta Point is Not a Zoo: Our marine life is wild and free. While Manta Point has a 90% sighting success rate, we cannot and will not guarantee the presence of Mantas, Mola Mola, or any specific animal. Mother Nature makes no promises, and no refunds are given for missed sightings.

🤿 Courses & Specialized Activities

  • Try Diving Pool Fee: If you participate in a Try Dive session in the pool and choose not to continue to the ocean dive, a 300,000 IDR pool and instructor fee applies.
  • Snorkeling Requirements: Due to the strong currents typical of Nusa Penida, our snorkeling trips are strictly for experienced swimmers only. Snorkelers must wear a life jacket if instructed by the guide.
  • Blackwater Diving: Night/Blackwater dives require an Advanced Open Water certification or Night Diver specialty, with a minimum of 2 participants required for the trip to run.

🛡️ Dive Insurance Requirements

  • SSI Basic Courses: If you are participating in an entry-level SSI course, basic DiveAssure insurance is automatically provided for the duration of your training.
  • All Other Diving: For fun dives, advanced courses, and non-SSI certifications, you are required to have personal dive insurance (e.g., DAN or DiveAssure). Coverage is very affordable (approx. $10-$20 USD daily). You can purchase it easily via a QR link provided in our WhatsApp chat or on-site at the dive center before your dive.

⚙️ Equipment Rental & Liability

  • Lost or Damaged Gear: You are responsible for the rental gear issued to you. Any lost or negligently damaged equipment will be charged to you at full retail replacement cost.
  • Liability Release: All divers and snorkelers must sign a standard Liability Release and Assumption of Risk agreement, as well as a Medical Statement, prior to any in-water activities.
By completing your deposit via Tab Travel, you acknowledge and agree to abide by all the Terms and Conditions listed above.
