Dive In Nusa Penida For Utmost Fun And Adventure

The diving in & around Nusa Penida would be just excellent! It has amazing dive spots where you have a good possibility of seeing the famed and rare Mola Mola, also known as Oceanic Sunfish, among other marine life. From August through October, the best time to look for it is during the day.

The Mola Mola normally lives in deep water (and is consequently difficult to observe), but during these months, they try coming up to shallow water to be cleaned of parasites that have accumulated there. Divers from all around the world travel to Bali during this period, specifically to dive with the Sunfish. It is recommended that you book the dives in advance, in best dive center nusa penida as their dive sites can fill up quickly.

  • Must-see diving spots

Daily at 8:30 a.m., the Dune Atlantis Global Bali speed boats 1 and 2 depart from Sanur beach, nearly always finding the way to the fittingly called dive site of Manta Point, wherein Reef Mantas ray (Manta alfredi) arrive or go to a resident “cleaning station.”

Crystal Bay is a must-see diving spot on the island, and it is located on the west side of the island. It is between July to October that you have your best opportunity of encountering the amazing Sunfish that can grow up to 3 meters in height.

Traveling time to the dive sites will be roughly 35-45 minutes in each direction. All of the dive sites are selected based on the certification & skill levels of the divers there, as well as the weather conditions and current.

  • Endless adventure & fun

Nusa Penida diving day trips include two or three dives, lunch supplied on the boat, hot drinks and snacks, and transportation to and from the dive site.

Nusa Penida is a destination that can’t be described as boring. This island has an almost limitless amount of dive places for drift diving, as well as coral which is in excellent condition. The cold thermoclines rise from the depths, with temperatures up from 18-20 degrees, helping to maintain the coral reef by sweeping away particles that could obstruct sunlight and bringing nutrition to nourish the reef. They also provide incredible visibility and the opportunity to see large pelagic fish in their natural habitat.

  • Why go for diving in Bali?
  • Bali is the place to go if you want to see manta rays, seasonal Mola, and drift dives
  • The northern coast of popular Bali is a fantastic place for wall & reef dives, and it will captivate even the most experienced of scuba divers
  • There are Bali dive sites all around the place, and you can locate them anywhere on the island
  • Many travelers spend their time between several sites to gain a diverse range of experiences

Secret Bay, Menjangan Island, and Pemuteran are all located in the northwest part of the island.

Tulamben, Amed, Candidasa, & Padang Bai are all located on the island’s eastern shore. The beautiful Liberty Wreck may be found in Tulamben, Oregon. There’s some excellent muck diving here, as well as in the neighboring Seraya. Divers enter over clean volcanic rock which can be a little problematic because the diving is done from the coast.
